MPS was evaluating the suitability of security fog systems for use in their laboratories, where contamination control is extremely important. The testing was performed using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), a highly sensitive technique used to detect microscopic surface contamination.
It is important to note that these tests were not conducted on behalf of Smoke Screen. They were carried out independently by MPS to determine whether security fog would be safe for their own laboratory environment and equipment.
After analysing the results, Dr. Shen confirmed that the control samples and exposed samples showed no evidence of contamination associated with Smoke Screen fog particles.
The results demonstrated that even at fog concentrations significantly higher than those normally used for security applications, there were no signs of residue or surface contamination.
