Xenon Flash
A security strobe is a powerful visual deterrent designed to disrupt intruders and strengthen modern security systems. The Smoke Screen unit uses xenon flash security technology to produce intense bursts of light that immediately draw attention and disorient anyone inside the protected area. When triggered during a security event, the device emits rapid flashes that make it difficult for intruders to focus, navigate the space, or continue their actions.
This form of strobe light security works alongside alarms and other active protection technologies to increase the effectiveness of a security response. While alarm systems alert staff and monitoring teams to a break-in, the security strobe introduces a powerful visual element that changes the environment for the intruder. The sudden appearance of a bright, disorienting light can create confusion and hesitation, forcing criminals to rethink their actions and often abandon the attempt. In many installations the strobe operates alongside security fog technology. While fog removes visibility by filling the space with dense vapour, the xenon strobe introduces a powerful disorienting light that further disrupts intruders. Together these technologies create a highly effective security environment where criminals lose both visibility and orientation.
Because it activates instantly when connected to an alarm system, the strobe provides a reliable and automatic visual deterrent. The rapid xenon flashes make it extremely uncomfortable for intruders to remain inside the building, helping to disrupt criminal activity before valuables can be located.

Features
Imagine driving into thick fog and then turning your vehicle’s full beam on – this gives you an idea of the sensation. The unit itself is small, robust and designed with style in mind. Using Xenon Flash means that lower volumes of smoke (and hence smaller, cheaper fog generators) can be employed to incredible effect.

Way better than you think!
I have been working with security smoke every so often for about 20 years. I occasionally do installations and have seen the fog go off many times. Although I think the fog is good, I recently saw it demo’d with the strobe and it’s an absolute game changer. I’d argue that it’s twice as good with the strobe and it’s definitely worth considering if oyu have the budget.
