We want to change the world

We believe that safety is a fundamental human right. The Smoke Screen mission is to revolutionise security by providing powerful, intuitive solutions that actively prevent crime and protect lives. Our goal is not simply to detect incidents after they occur, but to stop them from happening in the first place.

Security Fog Systems for Real Theft Prevention

Security should provide more than alarms and cameras. It should provide active protection. That belief is at the heart of our security fog mission and guides the way we design every system.

Smoke Screen systems are built around the principle of active security. Instead of allowing criminals time to locate valuables, our technology removes visibility and disrupts the theft immediately. This approach transforms traditional security from passive monitoring into real crime prevention.

But our mission goes beyond technology.

We are not just another product manufacturer.

Behind every system we create is a team of people who understand the impact that crime can have on individuals, businesses, and communities. When a break-in occurs, the damage is rarely limited to financial loss. It can affect livelihoods, safety, and peace of mind.

That is why our work is driven by a strong theft prevention commitment. Every product we develop is designed to help people protect what they have worked hard to build.

At Smoke Screen, we believe security innovation should serve a greater purpose: helping create safer environments where businesses can operate confidently and communities can thrive.

We are real people who protect real people and their livelihoods.

it's time for the security industry to evolve

The security industry faces a difficult contradiction. Its purpose is to prevent crime, yet its existence depends on crime continuing to occur.

At Smoke Screen, we believe the industry must evolve beyond simply reacting to criminal activity. Security systems should actively prevent crime rather than just record it.

Traditional security solutions often detect intrusions only after they have begun. Alarms notify authorities, cameras capture footage, and monitoring services respond to alerts. While these systems are valuable, they do not always stop criminals from completing the theft.

Our approach to active security challenges this model.

Security fog technology works by removing the one thing criminals rely on most: visibility. When an intrusion is detected, dense fog fills the protected space within seconds. Intruders cannot see valuables, exits, or even their surroundings.

Without visibility, the opportunity for theft disappears.

This shift from detection to prevention represents a major step forward in crime prevention and security innovation.

But our long-term goal goes even further.

In an ideal world, the Smoke Screen mission would make our own technology unnecessary. If crime were reduced to the point where businesses and individuals no longer needed systems like ours, that would represent true success.

We are not here to capitalise on misfortune. We are here to change the way the security industry approaches its responsibility to society.

Until that world exists, we remain committed to providing advanced security solutions that protect people and property.

Conversations to Elicit Change

Security innovation is not only about technology. It also requires discussion, learning, and collaboration across the entire industry.

To support this goal, we created The Security Breakdown, a podcast dedicated to exploring important topics in modern security. Through open conversations with industry experts, we aim to challenge existing thinking and encourage meaningful change.

The podcast gives us an opportunity to discuss emerging threats, new technologies, and the evolving role of security in society.

By sharing knowledge and encouraging honest discussion, we hope to contribute to a stronger, more responsible security industry.

Real progress begins with conversation.
