WEEE End of Product Life Information
At Smoke Screen, we recognise the importance of protecting the environment and meeting our environmental responsibilities. We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of the products we manufacture and supply, and we work continuously to ensure that our equipment can be handled responsibly at the end of its life cycle.
Environmental compliance is an important part of our operations. As part of this commitment, we ensure that all applicable products meet the requirements of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013. These regulations are designed to encourage responsible product disposal, promote recycling, and reduce the environmental impact of electrical and electronic waste.
To support compliance with these regulations, all relevant Smoke Screen products are clearly marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol. This symbol indicates that the equipment should not be disposed of with general household or commercial waste and must instead be processed through appropriate recycling and recovery systems.
Smoke Screen is also a member of the Beyondly Global WEEE compliance scheme. Through this programme, Beyondly Global registers our company with the Environment Agency as a recognised producer and manages the collection and recycling of equipment where required. This system ensures that products reaching their end of life are handled through approved recycling channels that comply with environmental legislation.
Beyondly Global can assist with the collection and recycling of Smoke Screen equipment where necessary. If you require further WEEE information or need to arrange collection of equipment for recycling, Beyondly Global can be contacted on 0844 873 1034. When contacting them, please quote our membership number CD01/00593. Our Environment Agency Producer Registration number is WEE/HB3530XZ.
Responsible disposal of electrical equipment plays an important role in protecting the environment. Recycling helps recover valuable materials and prevents harmful substances from entering landfills or the wider ecosystem. By ensuring equipment is processed through authorised recycling systems, businesses can help support sustainable environmental practices.
How to return
If Smoke Screen equipment is no longer required, or if it has reached the end of its operational life and is considered beyond economic repair, it can be returned directly to us for responsible disposal and recycling.
Products can be sent to the following address:
Smoke Screen Ltd
1C North End Business Park
Station Road
Swineshead, Boston
Lincolnshire

Returning equipment to our facility ensures that it is handled according to the correct environmental procedures and that recycling processes meet applicable compliance requirements.
Alternatively, if it is more convenient for you to arrange product disposal locally, please ensure that the disposal process follows all relevant local guidelines and regulations relating to electronic waste and recycling.
Following proper product disposal procedures helps ensure that end-of-life equipment is managed responsibly while supporting wider environmental compliance and sustainability efforts.
